The 2026 Quiet Corner Garden Club Annual Scholarships are awarded to local high school seniors or current college students pursuing a major in an agriculture/ horticulture-related field of study such as: Agronomy, Botany, City Planning, Conservation, Environmental Studies, Floriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Land Management, Landscape Design, Plant Pathology, Aquaponics, Natural Resources and/or related subject. More than one scholarship may be awarded.

Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of academic achievement, leadership / initiative qualities, personal statement, community service, and letters of recommendation.

Applicants must reside within the Quiet Corner Garden Club’s service area of northeastern Connecticut and south-central Massachusetts.

In addition to the completed application form, the applicant must provide:

• A transcript from your college or high school.
• A personal statement addressing your qualifications for the scholarship, including career goals and commitment to the chosen field of study. The statement should be no longer than one page, double-spaced.
• Two letters of recommendation (not from a family member).
• High School Seniors: A copy of an acceptance letter from the college you plan to attend.
